Announcing
Learn Hiragana/Katakana CD-ROM v. 1.5

Many, many years ago when I first decided I wanted to
learn Japanese there were hardly any textbooks available.
I did manage to find a very slim volume that had charts
of both the Hiragana and Katakana syllabaries, however.

The charts didn't actually show the stroke order for writing
each Kana, but I thought that if I were going to study
Japanese at some time in the future, I would need to know
both Hiragana and Katakana, so I attempted to teach myself
how to write them. Needless to say, my efforts weren't
very artistic, and as I spent hours trying to memorize
how to write the Kana, I kept thinking there ought to be
an easier way to go about doing it.

Well, now I've produced a very efficient CD-ROM program
designed to enable you to rapidly learn to read and write
Hiragana and Katakana. I'm sure it will make the task easier
for you than it was for me!
